1. Who we are
This website, https://medarix.ai, is operated by Medarix AI ("Medarix AI", "we", "us"). You can contact us through the booking page (opens in a new tab) on this website.
2. Please do not send us patient information
This website is for practice owners and managers who want to learn about our services. It is not designed to receive patient information, and we ask that you do not send us any through this website, the booking page (opens in a new tab), or by email. By patient information we mean any information that identifies a patient or relates to a patient's health, care or payment for care, including protected health information as defined by law. If we work together, patient information would be shared only after a written agreement is in place that covers how it is handled.
3. What this policy covers
This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, book a call with us, email us, or receive an email from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. It does not cover websites run by other companies, even if we link to them.
4. Information we collect
When you visit the website. The website is delivered through a hosting and content delivery provider. When you load a page, the provider and our hosting setup process technical information that is needed to deliver it, such as your IP address, the type of browser and device, the pages requested, and the date and time. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Information stored in your browser. The website stores two small items in your browser, on your device only. One remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. The other, which lasts only for the current browsing session, remembers that you have already seen the opening animation. These items are not sent to us and do not contain personal information. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
Analytics. We do not use analytics or advertising tools on this website. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
When you book a call. The booking link takes you to a scheduling service operated by another company. When you book, you give that service details such as your name, work email address, practice name and anything you choose to write. Please do not write patient information in any field. The service handles that information under its own privacy policy, which it makes available on its pages. We receive the details so that we can prepare for and hold the call.
When you email us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. Please do not attach or describe patient information.
Outreach emails. We may contact owners and managers of medical and dental practices by email to tell them about our services, using business contact details. Each outreach email includes a way to opt out. If you tell us you do not want to hear from us, we will stop, and we keep a record of your request so that we do not contact you again.
5. How we use information
We use the information we collect to run and secure the website, to respond to messages, to schedule and hold calls, to decide whether and how we can help a practice, to keep a record of opt-out requests, and to meet legal obligations. We do not use personal information to make automated decisions that affect you.
6. Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the website and our business, such as our hosting provider, our scheduling service and our email provider, and only so that they can provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our business, our users or others, and in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising across other companies' websites.
7. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purposes in this policy, which includes the length of any business relationship and the period afterwards in which we may need records. We keep opt-out records for as long as is needed to honor them. You can ask us to delete information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions in section 9.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us sensitive personal information, such as government identification numbers or payment card details, through this website or by email.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can ask us to stop sending you emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and the right to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, contact us through the booking page (opens in a new tab). We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children
This website is for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
11. Where information is processed
Our providers operate in several countries, so information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
12. Links to other websites
This website may link to websites run by others, such as the scheduling service. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on this page.
14. Contact
If you have questions about this policy, contact us through the booking page (opens in a new tab).
